Problem detecting CS 1.6 to xfire

I am getting an error message as shown in the screenshot when detecting CS 1.6 to xfire (version 1.102) manually. (No result when detecting automatically)

There is no such files called steam.exe and counter-strike.gcf in the game folder (not even anywhere)

1) what should I do to fix this problem. Please help

2) The reason I installed xfire was to create a banner like this!

what are the other sites/softwares offering this service other than gametracker.com? (Hope to use them if I am unable to fix this problem)

Now download and install xfire (5MB) and see whether you get the same problem. (If you are in need of creating a banner like I've shown before)

Problem Solved. It was because I had the non-steam setup of CS. Editting few lines of an xfire_games.ini did the job. Now it detects CS without any problem.

Here is the way of editting xfire_games.ini to make it detect the game.
