What is the criteria for "best"?

Pure Price? Pure Performance? Best bang for the buck? Overclockability? What?

    Intel Vs AMD processor

This is only about thermal protection a feature we need very rare occactions since no sane person is going to run processor without cooler unless his intesion is to destroy the processor. So this is not a very good factor to measure the performance of the CPU which is the most important feature of a processor.

Lame! An overclocked AMD can't even touch a highend Intel CPU at stock. Not to mention that you can most of the times get a 50%+ overclock from the Intels these days.

lol.....AMD for overclocking??? most of the AMD CPUs are multiplier locked! The new quad cores suck @ OC...Even the black editions. A good old Q6600 smokes any Phenom available!
