    Yes Yes...I need help

How do you install a modem to Linux. Just give me a generic intro. And, how do I make a dialup connection.?
Only the NIC is visible in Linux.

P.s. Small addition, I have a Modem called PCI Soft v.92 (A cheap junk from Unity :D )

well machan Linux kernel is very powerful but not that user friendly. There are lot of things related to programming that linux can achieve very easily while you have to go through the mill to do the same in windows.

How to install windows xp and ubuntu Gubsty 7. both in a single hard disk?

How to partition the hard disk when installing ubuntu to a machine which windows xp is already exist............

    do anyone know?:nerd:

create an unpartitioned space of about 5GB using windows XP

Then in the ubuntu installation use that unpartitioned space to create the partition for the ubuntu ( probably Ext3)

KDE , Gnome and XFce .... all are window managers and desktop environments.

Difference is basically how the GUI looks.

for more details , just google "X window" and read :)
