I have my own opinions.. but probably its not relevant here..
    so..Bump...
Kiyapan kiyapan. Yako math programming newi. I learnt some during uni days (C and Java).

But my company uses C++, Python and Java(some webserver shit)

Mata question eka tiyenne, why aren't Unis teaching relevant languages. But then again I think what they need to teach is the basics/fundementals not the language

Don't stick with a single language/framework or technology, be ready to be evolved with the industry, with this rate, any technology can get obsolete in 2 years. so focus on concepts/design patterns/architectures.

I started with C/Java but after I had worked with Objective C, then Swift, then again Some Java, Kotlin, Dart, and some of the programming languages you might have never heard of.
Now I can learn any new programming language in less than 8 hours and start working on production work.

    Probably the most important thing

Yeah believe need to learn concepts and not just the language. Languages will change, syntax will change but the fundamentals will remains the same (or change much slowly)
