Twelve Sri Lanka Railway employee who were flown for a higher training to an institution in Chennai were transferred to Punjab state following protests against them, Railway sources in Colombo said.
The two week training had commenced yesterday, but when they visited the Vilivakkam railway yard, they were prevented from attending the training programme.
Indian railway authorities immediately intervened and transferred them to the Punjab State.
