PSP Slim Owners!

Hello,
My PSP 2001 won't work at all (no power) and I have no way of checking if its the adapter or console (I don't have a battery yet). Are there any PSP owners in the Dehiwala/Mount Lavinia area that can help me in figuring out if my PSP is faulty?
Any help is much appreciated.
Also if anyone knows of a reputed repair place, post here (or PM me)

hmm..... its hard to say anything without having a battery... it may be the charger ...

Yes. The thing is the charger is brand new (although it is a generic Chinese made one). That's why I need to check my PSP with a fully charged battery to see if it works. I have spent a tidy amount on my PSP so I'm broke at the moment for a battery. So if there is anyone willing to help, send me a PM.
Also, if you know of a PSP reapir place (a reliable one), let me know via this thread or PM.

machan, there is a repair plc in front of MC (BAMBA)... the lane adjoining the market.
GOOD GUY ELECTRONICS.
