Sri Lanka IS the best country on earth.....we may not be modern....or have high tech stuff.....
but we have freedom......
in Malaysia....we cannot eat anything inside public cabs etc....
in Singapore...its totally forbidden to eat or do anything else within a vehicle...& the road taxes....tolls....and OMG the rules...the infite amount of rules for ANYTHING you do....
india is a dump....they may be rich...but its only the ppl who were already rich becoming richer...and poorer become more poor.....and the drinking water there tastes like urine....
China...the travelling is soo trying.....its a freaking big country...takes weeks to get from place to place....and sooooooooooooo crowded for being a big country.....
and Japan...as you say is a good country...unless you like to eat raw fish day and night....and the perverts there....
bottom line...japan is nice and exotic to look at...living there is....weird.....and they too have too many rules....you have to inform ur neighbors if you doing anything like heavy work....like plubing....or even if you gonna hammer a nail.....saying sorry for the noise & disturbance....

Well at the moment Sri Lanka might not be the best place to live (Specially with this politics and lawlessness). But when you live in another country you realize that Sri Lanka is a country full of resources to be a developed country. We have everything, Climate is ideal for humans to live in, No natural disasters, so many natural resources.
The only sad part is that the people in Sri Lanka do not realize the importance of this country and they do not use all these resources to the betterment of all of the people. Our people never get united, lazy, selfish, hate rules and do not obey the rules.
If there is a day that our people will realize the truth, then we can truly call our country the Paradise in Earth....

srilanka is the best place to live but due to corruption and price of money tax.. its kinda hard to live here... well if u ask a lil kid who is in grade 4or5 whats ur ambition i wana go abroad..people are born with that attitude..
well a place for Sinhalese is Australia Melbourne... coz there are lots of shinhala + temples and stuff they also run the same culture in Melbourne..(among Sinhalese)
