hmm...anyway 3850 and 3870 are doing very good sales here! And many people waiting for 4xxx series too!!
Unfortunately for em,It will take two years :P And they should do good sales.Who doesnt like like 2fps lower VGA @ stock than a 8800GT,with HDCP+HDMI+AVIVO for 50 less USD??Hell I love it.The most important reasons I love Radeons is,they give me a free capture card :D

With copied Patriot design :P or the other way round maybe.:D

Oh! yeah! I just remember I saw this design in few other brands too, like Kingmax!

Anyway, whats your thoughts on having external RAM coolers like Thermaltake's cyclo? They sure do provide cooling, but is it effective, because unless you measure manually.. there's no way of knowing either!!

    Kidding.Alright
If you use DDR3 you must use them. When we measured the DDR3 1333 Corsair XMS3 It was like 45k.Right next to them was TRUE.TRUE can reduce like 4C of the around heat so Its really heating in DDR3 I think. In DDR2 >=1066 range RAMs starting to get heat.Even in DDR800 if voltage pass 2.0.The more cooler the RAMs more good and stable will be your OC,longlife(Which dont matter as all of em have lifetime) and some some things.DDR1 and DDR667 isnt wanna be cooled nor the ValueRAMs.Also If you dont OC,I dont see a point in Active RAM cooling. And cyclo is not that good.Get a dominator cooler and switch the fans. Will do great. The builtins are not that good.Or put a 120mm on the side to blow them all off.Like I did.But beware of dead spots.

Well.. too late I already bought a cyclo! some of the other coolers I saw had to connect through the MOBO (mine all occupied) except for cyclo!

I feel so pity for you. There are 3pinfan to molex converters comes with fans too every where. And you could have modded it.Just connect the 2 wires into molex from the back.Sheesh..What were you thinking.Anyway its gone.Lets think about its beauty. Its blue, transparent, bit of round eh?Sexy sleek bitchy one.:D Who cares if it cools than stock and only 7 USD.Lets be happy..

Yeah! I could have modded , but the thing is I'm very reluctant to do those because I always think about selling them back when I don't need them anymore!

People like to MOD but they don't like to buy even second hand if its already modded:rolleyes: !! Where's the fun eh?

It wasn't very expensive though, same price as a LED 120mm fan (around Rs. 1200+)
Yeah! it does look quite NICE! more like a cycling helmet!!

    Sorry bro.
WTF? Ever heard of Cable management? under the mobo tray? holes in mobo tray? space between mobo and mobo tray? plzzz.thats cooling. Can get 3~5 c more.Yours is S**t.
    Okay.
    Whats your mobo? ASUS ..........................
Your stock HSF will blow heated air onto the RAMs? right? and you push the air down from the cyclo? right? So what happens to air? WRONG I think.:P

CALM DOWN DUDE!!! I've got no cooling probs with my MOBO, and this is at the far corner of the MOBO. The angle of the pic looks cables a bit messy... Besides... I had it all sleeved up but had to uncover all them to get a molex out of it..

HSF doesn't blow HOT air to any of the parts because my side cover houses a chimney that direct the HOT air right out of it!! the only thing is as you can see the black color IDE cable blocking apart of the intake fan from the front!

You got any other ideas to position the RAM cooler
