The whole city of Kandy was packed with people who came to participate at the inaugural election rally of the Common Candidate Gen. Sarath Fonseka says our reporter. The rally was held at the Central Market in Kandy.
Leaders of all political parties that support Gen. Fonseka at the presidential election including leaders of the UNP and the JVP participated. UPFA Parliamentarian Arjuna Ranatunga who joined Gen. Fonseka to support him at the election too participated.
