First of all, let me "STERNLY" state that I neither do not support nor endorse any particular political party in this forum. Though I have my own reservations and idea about politics as a whole (and yes I DO VOTE for a certain party) yet I do not publicize it.
However, moving on..... I heard the most funniest and the most wittiest come back from Ranil after quite a some time. So here it is (and it's true.. I am not making this up)
Mahinda : Mama mey yudhdhaya higannagey thuwaley wagey karagena nehe. (in a political gathering addressing the crowd)
and the reply
Ranil : Ow..Janaadhipathi thuma kiyapu kathaawa hariyatama hari.. ethuma yudhdhey Aladingey puduma pahana karagena thiyenney. (addressing a political rally and countering president's speech)
Ok.. I don't know in what length you will see the unmistakable and ingenious sarcasm in that counter back answer... but " I " ..............laughed my butt out when I heard that
