Ah ha!!! Now this is one famous topic!!! This is most used line of the government ministers and even the President himself. "Ranil is a traitor"... "He's LTTE's main man who was going to help them in achieving their so called Eelam"
For someone to believe something, they need proof. What proof does the government have to prove this theory???
I have never heard ANY proof whatsoever in my whole life but yet there seems to be no end to this absolutely crazy accusation which Ranil, our dear Leader has to live with probably till the day he dies!!!!
But I have and I'm sure all of you who have even a little bit of common sense would have a very VERY good proof to say that Ranil is NOT A TRAITOR and he DOES NOT WORK FOR THE LTTE...And that simple but quite strong proof my friends is this...
In the Presidential Election 2005, the LTTE forced the Tamil people in their areas not to vote. And you don't have to be a rocket scientist to know which candidate those people were going to vote for!!!! From the evidence we have from places like Jaffna where they did vote, Ranil would have got in excess of 75% of the vote!!! So it is crystal clear what the LTTE did try to achieve. And that is, make Ranil lose and get Mahinda elected who they thought was the better choice for them in their endeavor of getting a separate state. They thought that if Ranil comes, he would keep them in a stranglehold with the help of the International Community. The LTTE themselves have accepted that they got caught to Ranil's " PEACE TRAP"!!! So...are we still to see this plain writing on the wall??? How can the LTTE and Ranil work hand in hand when they deprived him of becoming the President of Sri Lanka??? If what these people in the Government are saying is true, the LTTE would have forced their people to vote for Ranil instead of forcing them not to vote at all!!!!
Why are these people slinging mud at this innocent man who has never lied, never stolen, never been unfaithful to the party he represents and the country??? All he ever did was try to bring peace to the country which was tired of a bloody war that lasted 25 years, and bring a long lasting solution to the problem and build the economy of the country. Ranil always had a dream...and that is to see this country as a peaceful, vibrant country with a booming economy with people who are united and happy, who had money to spend!!! How unfortunate my friends??? But some people don't like his dream to come true.........
