Interesting decision (if this is true:rofl:)...

But there are two sides of the story. Still there are UNP officials who like Ranil's leadership. (Most of them don't like it though because of his stubbornness.)

This move 'might' lead up to a full stop to the party - UNP!

Because of the power struggle which will be created automatically for the party leadership, the party may divide or some (or most) of the officials will join Mahinda's party.

At the moment I can't see any person other than Sajith Premadasa. But if he gets the leadership, it'll create a huge storm within the party... So let's wait and see..

This decision has got good and bad both...

If this'll lead to a party division, then definitely MR would have the majority for a very long time - by which there'll be no Sri Lanka left!

    Sajith should be the leader if UNP wants to win. Not that bugger SB or losser Rukman. Janaka Perera too should be given a leading position in that party.
