Since OnePlus is not officially sold/distributed in Sri Lanka, your only option is to buy the device from one of the grey market shops that can be usually found in Liberty Plaza. Buying a mobile phone from the "Grey Market" might pose some problems for you. I assume that you're aware of the current TRCSL restriction on not accepting non-TRCSL-approved devices on mobile operator networks. Have a look at the form in the following URL.

    https://forms.office.com/Pages/Resp...R9bTJrXNUMjk3VDBQV0VZQUsyM0xXRkxPVTZOODcxTS4u

    It clearly indicates
Submission of information of non TRCSL approved devices purchased within Sri Lanka after 01st of October would not be considered for registration.

In that case, you might be out of options at the moment because local sellers do not bother enough to get a vendor certification from TRCSL. If you want to get a clear idea on the issue, you can book a phone/online appointment with a TRCSL officer/director via the form available in their website and they will call you back. When you place the booking, make sure that you choose the "Spectrum Division". Or rather, you might be able to call their hotline as well.

I am also having difficulties in light of this situation because I am looking for personally importing a mobile device from an online store. According to what I found, personally importing a device and getting it registered with TRCSL, is a viable option and it will not make your device unusable within the country.

as far as I know, you can buy OP phone from anywhere and the phone will be genuine as I have not seen duplicates for that brand. I use a 6T and I got it from Daraz when they opened the site some years back for a ridiculously low price :).

life Mobile is good. I bought a JBL flip 5 for a very reasonable price and it's genuine.
the OP which is available in SL in from India, and it doesn't matter which country it's from as the build quality is the same. you might have some 4G issues it u buy one from the European market or US..

if I'm you, I won't worry about the warranty that much as all warranty given by local buggers are bull. and the OP phone is very dependable so if you use it with some decent sense it won't give u any trouble.. I have been using OP for the last 10+ years.

I know what you're saying and actually don't care about warranty in Sri Lanka . But I just want to make sure I'm not buying any refurbished/replacement phone as brand new sealed box item.

That's why I need reliable seller.
