Resign

I want to resign from my current company before the notice period. The notice period is 3 months. I need to resign early as I got an offer from another company. The current company are not ready to relieve me from the position before notice period. What should I do?

Is your current employer a major player in the industry?if so dont mess.If not act according to the agreement they can say what ever they like you are free from law

Then you should be able to do that. They can't stop you. I think you can get legal action against them, but that should be the last option.

No, I don't think they can say that. If they have updated their policies, they should have asked you to sign an updated agreement, but that all depends on what they have mentioned in the job agreement. If they say that they can update it without informing you, then you don't have an option here.

if the agreement has provisions in place to allow an employee to pay and leave before the three month period then that should be it
but it all depends on the agreement and to what extent they're willing to enforce it
most employers wouldn't chase a former employee around just because they left their job
