Dude grow thick skin and work hard and fast if you’re a labourer. No way around that.
When I first came to NZ I got jobs at construction sites and those guys took piss at me because Māori dudes are fucking big and they can lift shit. But I was smart and joked back at them and even made some friends. You have to go along and play along. Gobba gathiya nathi karaganin bun.
Now I live a very good life 9-5 good money and no one really cares about how I do my work. I do use elakiri at work too

Took me couple years to settle myself but it all worth it. Thinking of applying for citizenship too. My advice is plan your life and plan a career. Plan a pathway to get shit done and make better. Don’t just do shit to for the sake of money.
