As darkness spreads, you come to me
And chase away my nightmares
You shield me against the evil that surround me
I sleep in comfort, perfect bliss.
Yet as the sun shines bright
You take a bow and make your leave
I wake up only to find you gone
Leaving behind a magical memory
I challenge the day with your memory in hand
All obstacles wither and perish
I cannot be defeated, for my heart is with you
I laugh and sing, I even smile with the sun
Still... my heart is not content
A mere memory is not enough
A single look from you renders me breathless
I keep looking for you, in every face I see
Why are you afraid of the light?
You are my brave knight, you cannot be harmed.
I close my eyes, praying I’d wake up
Into a new day of hope, with you beside me.
