Whenever I try to upgrade my phone with Kies, after downloading about 100 MB (50% wage) somehow the download stops and so I can't upgrade the firmware.

Kies says the current version of firmware I have is PDA:LA4 / PHONE:LA2 / CSC:LA3 (AFR)

    and the new upgrade is PDA:LE1 / PHONE:LD2 / CSC:LD2 (AFR)

when I googled if I can download the firmware online search results say "Upgrade Firmware for Samsung Galaxy Y".. Why is this mix up???

When I search for latest upgrades for Samsung Ace GT-S5830 the firmware upgrade name starts like "PDA:KC1" which as you can see differs from what Kies showed me...

What is this mix up and how can I safely upgrade my firmware????
    Please help...

Samsung releases different update packages for different regions. I think thats what caused you this little mix up. Try updating via data (3g)connection. Its the most hassle free way to do it.It will cost you money so you better activate a temporary data plan, say 200mb or 100mb.
