Sanath is a player who loves the game alot.. most of the players who retire from the game early when they have lots of cricket left on them mainly do that for the goodness of their image.. --to be known as player who played well even at the last days of career-- or -- to spend more time with their families-- or-- simply fed up of the game-- .... what i say is if a player still has required fitness level and talent age shouldnt be a barrier .look at players like Hussey brothers, brad haddin.. etc they made their debut at 30's .. ppl who argue that sanath doesn't score consistantly, just tell me when did ever he score like that in his career ? he's a a type of player who turns up at big occassions.he has often gone through long bad patches but as now he's older in age ppl tend to tink he has lost all of it when he doesn't score in few innings.then Y don't you talk about players like mahela ?is he all that consistant?
