Total marks = 100 (breaks in to 2 parts 50:50)
1. 1st 50
This is for the address where you stay. with in 2.5 km radius according to the distance to the school main gate, how many schools are passed to reach the school you are applying. each school that you pass will reduce 5 marks from the fifty.
Ex: if you are applying to Colombo Thurstan College and your address is colpetty. you need to pass Mahanama, Royal College, St michal. so you will loose 15 points out of 50.
2. 2nd 50
last 5 years election voted by both mother and father of the kid, from the same address. 30 marks for this
house deed - if this is under fathers or mothers name, you will get 15 marks.
Nic of parents in the same address - 2 marks
kids birth certificate in the same address - 1 mark
water, electricity, telephone bill under parents name for the same house address - 3 marks
If there is anything i missed please comment about it. this is just based on what i heard and learned. also i would like to know about OB category and brother sister category for grade 1 school admission.
