Anusha ayya what if I plug in another 1GB ram and buy a 7300LE.Is it will be better than 1GB with 7600GS?(other is 2GB with 7300LE\GS\GT)
It is ok.We got no 64bit OS running now coz lack of software support.(We cant find them here easily-not the little day to day apps)lahirumam said:So... do u hav to hav a 64-bit OS to get the maximum out of a dual core 64 bit processor?? sorry i am asking all these questions... just curious
Well, native 64bit software will give you better performance in heavy mathematics oriented fields such as video rendering (animations), archiving, encoding, cryptography and certain CPU intensive tasks in even normal Office applications (such as sort, search functions). But not all of the software is 64bit. I've finally moved to 64bit. I'm using 64bit Vista Ultimate. Still, more than half of my software is 32bit. They don't run slow though.lahirumam said:So... do u hav to hav a 64-bit OS to get the maximum out of a dual core 64 bit processor?? sorry i am asking all these questions... just curious

In games, it won't be faster. You will see less stuttering, but framerates will still be low. You know, most people still buy 1GB RAM and Geforce 8800 series cards.zCexVe said:Anusha ayya what if I plug in another 1GB ram and buy a 7300LE.Is it will be better than 1GB with 7600GS?(other is 2GB with 7300LE\GS\GT)

Less paging means you don't have to wait for things to load. Whenever the hard disk is involved, things get slow ne? You will see less of these with more RAM. This doesn't necessarily mean all your programs will run faster. Programs that need a lot of RAM such as photo editing software, video editing software etc. will be smoother.lahirumam said:Anusha Aiya, what differences can u see once u increase the RAM? this might seem a bit dumb but still i need a clear answer

In games, more RAM means there are less pauses. Don't misunderstand, this is not low framerates. The games will pause for a second or two to clear the RAM and load from the hard disk when you are low on RAM.

Electronic and Telecom. Computer was #2 and I had enough results to go for #1. Why hesitate.
Do as much problems as you can. The experience is what matters. This is what's lacking at University. In 3 months per semester, you can't get much of an experience in solving problems, hence the papers are tough for most.lahirumam said:True.. Super....I am doing maths for A/L too... any tips?
