Machan, if it not a full hd one, don't buy it. you can get a Hitachi full hd one for the same price. Pic quality is superb. you can get 3yr warranty for extra 5000 if you want. Unfortunately cannot play AVI. or mkv. via pen drive.

මේ දවස්වල මමත් හොයන නිසා කරුණු කීපයක් දාන්නම් -

1. Atom 32' Full HD LED-
Rs. 62000 from showroom (near Public Library)
2 yrs Warranty
Problems -
* The guy at showroom claimed that all parts are from Samsung. But Dynamic contrast ratio is 6000:1. I don't know any Samsung panel with this low level. Probably it is not from Samsung.
* Since Dynamic contrast ratio is 6000:1, the picture quality could be poor. I saw one side by side with Samsung at Arpico showroom and brightness level is low.
* Someone from gamer.lk site (LCD/LED repairman) says that Atom is not build to last long. He says that power driver boards from all the models are the same.

2. Hitachi 32' Full HD LED-
Rs. 64000-65000 at Singer Showrooms. 1yr warranty (Rs 5000+ = 3 yrs Mother company is giving 3 yrs warranty to dealers - this means it can last..).
Superb picture quality. Dynamic contrast ratio is 100000:1. (Saw it and compared.)
1080p only with HDMI cable (It's impossible to play 1080p via usb2 in normal models anyway..).
Can play mpg. mp3. from usb/sd card. But according to what I've heard, Bitrate should be <1000kbps.

3. Samsung 32' Full HD LED-
You can get a series 5 one for about 72000 if you avoid the so called dealers (Showroom price is 80000). (Check 'Sri Lanka Promotions' site - there's one place at Thunmulla junction)

4. Olan 32' Full HD LED- මෙහෙම එකක් අද පත්තරේ දැක්කා. Full HD කියලා යටින් දාලා තිබ්බට සමහර විට වැරදීමක් වෙන්න ඇති. (call crown investments and find out)
Price - Rs. 47000. 2yrs warranty. Origin - Unknown.
Need to visit Crown and see...

64000 වගේ ගානක් දීලා 720p TV එකක් ගන්න එපා මචං. මගේ අතේ තියන ෆෝන් එකෙනුත් 720p රෙකෝඩ් කරන්න පුළුවන්. 720p කියන්නේ ඒ තරමට outdated තාක්ෂණයක්..

Right now, my plan is to buy Hitachi.
