Should I buy the Nokia N97?

Excellent phone..great feature, but some (me included ) feel its not worth the price...The Nokia 5800XM has most of its features (but a smaller screen, only 8gigs of memory and only a 3.2 megapixel camera and no keyboard) and costs only about 40K whereas the the N97 costs more than 80K


If you have cash buy the N97, but if your looking for a good touchscreen phone with great feature to price ratio give the 5800XM a look

bro the N97 is a awesome phone... it's expensive and it has great features such as a qwerty keyboard , 32GB internal memory and so..... since every where it's expensive i think go for it...

N97 is a good phone, but the price is too much. You can get all the features of N97 with a mediocre camera and no physical keyboard if you buy the 5800 XM. Price is less than half of N97.

ela phone eka bcs it is nseries and the best of nseries thawa mona kathada it has great features better than the 5800XM anyway if u ar not going to buy a n97 then buy some other phone than the 5800XM it didn't sell so good so the price was reduced from sometin around 50k to 31k bcs no one took it but it's great too if u ar buying some phone of nokia then buy the n97 or else buy a smart or a htc phone those are also great

LOL!!! Who said the 5800XM didn't sell well...Don't know about Sri Lanka, but man it's the highest selling phone in the UK, it outsold the iPhone(all versions) and it Nokia's most successful smartphone for the last six months or so........

The 5800XM is awesome, the reason the price dropped is because the original price in SL was much higher than the international price,
and the price of the 5800Xm in SL slowly dropped to the price internationally from its way too high starting price in SL

Not all phones released for US market work in SL, I know. But N97 will. Cos it supports GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100. AFAIK SL 3G is using 2100. Right ?

prize isnt too much bro..look @ sony xperia..it hs 3.2 cam less memory,less features thn n97.bt it cost arrround 70-75 k...
so u cn go for n97 defenetly.bt as the latest highend device frm nokia n series it as only a 5mpx cam...datz d only bug i cn c frm n97.n the keybord is bit difficult for fast typing.i also gonnna buy it in next month frm u.a.e evn it hs sm failiers lyk diz..as a nokia lover..aas a nseies lover i cn do dat...im only into nokia n i lv nokia...so here its tym to gv a try to use next gen 4n frm nokia....
