1. I don't need a DVD ROM when I have the Burner. I don't need innecessary stuff in my PC. You don't have to fill all the 5.25" bays.
2. I can't sell my X100, because no one will by it. Its casing is disgustfully faded.

If it fails, I will by a new one. DVDRWs are dirt cheap nowadays. But at least it's better when it fails due to heavy usage, rather than a problem in the lens, problem in the electronic circuit or due to a power supply issue.

I don't watch DVD movies.

I will not buy a DVDROM ever. If I must, it would be another DVDRW.

udara ayya ! wat about u'er torrent downloading.....
try this tip.... but i didnt tested this yet... this is another way to bypass network security when downloading torrents... get Azureus and in the Transfer settings click the tick box that says use Encrypted TCP packets (both in and out) this will bypass the networks security. Also change the Port used from 6881 to something like 9000 or just generally something very high.

You know, I have another DVDRW in the old PC. But it's not as good as my current Sony DRU-810A (crossflashed to Benq DW1640), so I didn't even want to add it to this PC. Besides, it only has a ivory colour bezel. I didn't want to ruin the look of my case. (it's simple, but not ugly imo)
