I don't need a DVD ROM when I have the Burner. I don't need innecessary stuff in my PC. You don't have to fill all the 5.25" bays.

If it fails, I will by a new one. DVDRWs are dirt cheap nowadays. But at least it better when it fails after using it a lot, rather than a problem in the lens, problem in the electronic circuit or due to a power supply issue.
I don't watch DVD movies.
I will not buy a DVDROM ever. If I must, it would be another DVDRW.
