Sri Lanka as a member State of the United Nation does not approve or encourage the air strike on Libiya, Minister G.L. Peiris said in Parliament
Military intervention in Libya began on March 19 after the United Nations Security Council authorized a ‘no-fly-zone’ on Libya, authorizing all member states to take “all necessary measures" to "protect civilians and civilian-populated areas under threat of attack".

"These strikes are harming civilians and are also a violation of the territorial integrity of an independent country," Mr. Peiris
Mr. Peiris has nothing to say about Gaddafi attacking civilians with tanks, rockets, planes & artillery.
There are no reports yet of civilians being harmed by attacks launched by allied forces except for state media (which is known to make up things).
Gaddafi air force is now destroyed, no more flying.
