I completed my Computer Systems & Networking Degree exatcly 12 years ago.
    Its a great degree program.

However these days world trends are onto Data Science. I recommend to try Data Science degree. However it need good analytical skills.

Having said that, degree doesnt really pay you any. I was never a bright student. but i had a passion to some technologies. So my collegues in the batch got jobs as SE/NE etc. However after 12 years, i have SE/NEs as my employees.

So my recommendation is, learn things, experience new things. Just because you have degree, that doesnt mean you can earn lot.

These days world is turning into Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, etc. So try those.
If you have a dgree and if you have solid understanding of Systems/Any Language, even VB6 is fine :) ,
