eventually all this will become useless in future 1000's of graduates and lesser jobs...now people looking for a masters in their early 20's back then masters was a huge accomplishment...someday phd will be the minimum requirement for a trainee job

yeah bro thats right..MSc is becoming the minimum qualification nowadays... but 1000's graduates and lesser jobs?well that is in Sri Lanka..if you talk about the world there are still enough jobs to cover the the amount of graduates.. but yeah even then you need a Master qualification..probably after 10 years as you say yeah it will be a PhD. but whatever it is getting degree from a top university is a big thing without a doubt..

thats the truth bro government universities will have to be closed due to this reason or else they'll keep continuing but they will keep going down in the list of world rankings....

the idea is best talented people should get the best (like foreign branch campuses in SL) without money getting a barrier to them...So they can study and get a degree from a top university without a big issue of money... finally government universities become a place where only poor people will go..but they should not be closed otherwise people like them end up getting nothing...so everyone equally get their rights.. but the ultimate truth is UK/Aus campuses which will be build in SL will become a serious threat to the government campuses.. but in some way it will do loads of good to talented but in middle class Sri Lankan people...

Still I see no issue though...

p.s I know only know about the IT sector don't know in other areas..

No brother I am simply talking about the whole world not only about SL.yeah true some Tronic/Tricle people go to IT sector,but that is in Sri lanka.not outside SL. it is not only because they are paid highly in their major fields. it is mainly because there aren't straight jobs available for Tronic people in Sri Lanka.they can work in Mobitel and other places like Engineers, but not as pure Electronic Engineer.I am talking about this because I know people who are electronics engineers and what they say. even if there are straight Electronic job opportunities available in SL,that is very few.i mean very very few.I hope you know what is a straight job and something related job do you know, even for their Industrial Training Period there aren't proper places for Electronic Engineering.they just spend their time in a place without gaining any proper experience.I am talking about both who studied in Gov and Pvt Unis. this is the situation in SL. do you know about Mechatronics Engineering? almost there aren't a single place where a you can work purely as a Mechatronics Engineer in Sri Lanka.you can only work as a Mechanical/Electrical/Computer engineer in Sri Lanka after having a Mechatronics Engineering degree.

I am talking about this I have researched a lot about all these things.not that I am talking without knowing anything. Ok? all these things are only in SL men.Mora is no 1 ranked only for Sri Lanka.do you think a degree holder of Curtin University and Mora will get the same place in USA/UK?no way men!! I know what people of Mora say when they go abroad for Work and compared to Foreign degree holders the Mora degree holders are recognized lot less in outside Sri Lanka. thats a fact its you who need to do some more research about this.but not that I know everything though. ok

Of course not.I dont say going to Mora is bullshit. if you are staying in SL then somehow getting into Mora is the best option.but outside SL?it is completely other way around.

but who would want only to stay only in Sri Lanka? do you know the highest salary in Sri Lanka? I mean as a job.not business ok?I personally know a/l tuition master who earn over 60 lacks as his income. but when worked for someone?oh you can only get 4 lakhs maximum that is also as a CEO. but that is a very rare case.normally the highest salary I mean the highest in SL would be 2 lakhs. do you know what is the salary for a 5/6 years experienced Software Engineer in UK?20 Lakhs in SL rupees.!!! So who on earth would want to work in SL?

what I am saying is going to a gov universities is not a bad thing.but if you have money or even in Middle class and who want to live outside SL then you should never opt to go to a gov uni. you'll realize this when you are outside Sri Lanka.

but in short what I say is people who go through london a/ls and start their degrees in 16/17 years in a top university and get a top reputed degree in 20/21 will go to a something way way wayyy better place than someone who go to a gov uni after doing local a/ls and end up getting the degree in 26.that is when talked about the whole world not only about SL yeah true there are people who went to gov unis and now in a great position in their lives outside SL.but that is very few I mean very very few compared to others. but yeah I admit that not everyone can go trough this path I am saying because of money barrier.but if you can somehow go through that path then certainly you'll have a better life.
