SLIIT, the leading degree awarding institute in the fields of IT, Business and Engineering was adjudged as the best higher education institute in Sri Lanka. The survey was carried out by TNS Lanka, for the prestigious LMD magazine, with the objective of assessing educational institutes in Sri Lanka through the eyes of potential students and their parents.

While the research was carried out via a structured questionnaire, each institute was judged following a strict selection criteria to arrive at the rankings. Some of the attributes for judging were; reputation, local and global recognition, foreign affiliations, available facilities, qualifications of lecturers and prospect of international opportunities. SLLIT, a leader in the education arena, was able to abide by all stringent conditions and become a top pick by prospective students and parents.

thats the truth bro    government universities will have to be closed due to this reason or else they'll keep continuing but they will keep going down in the list of world rankings.... :baffled::baffled:

the idea is best talented people should get the best (like foreign branch campuses in SL) without money getting a barrier to them...So they can study and get a degree from a top university without a big issue of money... finally government universities become a place where only poor people will go..but they should not be closed otherwise people like them end up getting nothing...so everyone equally get their rights.. but the ultimate truth is UK/Aus campuses which will be build in SL will become a serious threat to the government campuses.. but in some way it will do loads of good to talented but in middle class Sri Lankan people...

eventually all this will become useless in future 1000's of graduates and lesser jobs...now people looking for a masters in their early 20's back then masters was a huge accomplishment...someday phd will be the minimum requirement for a trainee job :P
