Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t what I outlined in my original reply relevant to all data paradigms universally (Not the peak/offpeak structuring, the hardware cost component)?
If we forget the trade monopoly our telecom folks have secured over the years for a second, isn’t the infrastructure-related capital cost what is primarily holding us back from instilling FUP oriented packages? Local telecom is highway robbery, but let’s be realistic, there’s too large an economic obstacle embedded here somewhere that as a nation we aren’t yet robust enough to overcome.
I’m not in the telecom biz so answer me this if you can, do we currently have more than enough means to handle a substantial day-to-day traffic?
