Slt ADSL Router

Hi Friends,

I have planned to get the slt ADSL entree package. Can anyone please tell me the initial charges. I can do the installation by my self, i want to know the registration charge and the cost of the routers. Router models are:

1.ZTE ZXDSL 831 II - ADSL / ADSL2+ Ethernet Modem Router
2.ZTE ZXDSL 831C II - ADSL / ADSL2+ 4Port Ethernet Modem Router

I am going to use it for a single pc, so i want the price of the first modem please tell me the price of any other routers if available, and give me the website for info. Thanks in advance.

initial charges would be Rs. 500/- and there was a thread in EK on this. please check. About Routers & Modems i recommend that to purchase from the open market and not from SLT. the prices of these were on another thread in EK.

y wats the prob wit da router...i mean the difference between dem.. i want to buy the single port router coz,,,i am using b=vista in my laptop,,,,,and have a wireless router also dats y.....

costs 1650 rupees in india....around 3500 LANKAN rupees

Inital Charge is 1000 Rs. 500 Rs is for the package which has 1024 MB free usage after that you have to pay 50 cent for each 1 MB.

Dont buy a modem coz if it rains and if there is thunder then your modem wont work.

1 port router at SLT is 5000 Rs if you want it configured already you have to pay 2000 Rs more.

4 Port router at SLT is 9000 Rs if you want it configured already you have to pay 2000 Rs more.

But you can buy cheaper routers outside SLT like Unity Plaza for 3000 Rs ( 1 port router.)
