hi all , now SLT interhnet is bytes per second. Don't go after SLT ADSL , their customers ( including me) all are suffering from this SLT slow train.Even your
9600bps traditional modem is faster than that !
why SLT is doing this to us :
[*] well there are 4 engineers for a 1 post inside the SLT , Think how they pay salaries to them all.
[*] There are political influences to this . well our telecommunication commision has not doing their job on this matter.
[*] They are going after the huge gains , but lower customer satisfication. huge number of customers and low download speed.
Don't go after the SLT ADSL , the connection speed is less than 9600bps modem.
if then so buy the HSPDA like technology for shuch as 1500/-rs monthly rentail.
Today they have a problem in their servers , but they are not fixing it. I wonder there are 4 times ppl inside the SLT , but they cannot fix it. Now this is the 16 hour that the their customers are suffering from this trouble. I talk to the 1243 and they saying that at least another day required to slove that problem , and that's how they treating to the customers , and they don't show some good respect to their customers who are paying huge bills for their salaries.

anyway in the erope like countries you can get a 3Mbps connection with full speed for just 9$ , but in sri lanka SLT cannot give at least 512Kbps full download speed at least 2000/- rs . Think why! who paying for the engineers inside the SLT. I mean those who " wada bari engineers ".
SUCKS ! Those engineers have to know something that experience is better than the knowledge when they speak with their customers.It don't seems
that they are showing any respect for their customers.
