im experiencing the same thing. it gets disconnected atleast once a 5mins.

i have 2mbps conneciton and i have to wait 20mins to watch youtube video with the length of 3mins!


i used to get a 230KB/s download speed some times ago, in both day and night.

but now i have a speed around 44KB/s,


I used to get a better speed when i was using the 512k connecton from the SLT some times ago (before i purchase the 2mbps)

they maybe want us to upgrade our package (from 2mbps to 4mbps etc) as they introduced faster packages and reduced existing package prices...

first check your computer for viruses and spyware then check ur modem or router then check your line if those are fine complain 1243 their customer care is good I'm happy with SLT service

im pretty sure the pc is not infected. i called slt and made a complain yesterday. i did it few times before and then they came in the following day. what they told is there should be something wrong with the wiring and thats all i got from them.

but the thing is, the net connection is a lot faster in the night. but very very slower in the day time.

I am not sure about ur matter but if u got a wiring problem u can ask their help to fix it
