in Sri lanka- FTA satellite you get few english channels

here on FTA satellite you get some big channels

here many broadcasters put there channels FTA

Well as I know They have given 100 IPTV connections as the pilot project & whenever I ask them about the prices they just say "You just watch & give us the feedback until we commercially launch it!. By that time if you don't want it we'll remove the router & setup box!"

Quality

As I have DTV & IPTV both as per my comparisons IPTV picture quality is far more better. But sometimes (very seldom) you get that little stuck so you know you are watching a streaming line.

Menus are slower than DTV.


Hardware

I also had a D-Link ADSL 2+ router before & they installed their own router replacing mine. Their router sucks! Sometimes you need to restart the router several times to get ADSL internet line working!


Prices

Although they don't tell us the prices I got to know about their planned billing system by one of my friends in SLT. As per the info I have they will get a subscription from you for Live TV facility & for the others they will charge you additionally. It's like you need to purchase a movie from Video on Demand to watch it! Once you have purchased a movie you can watch it several times until you particular purchase expires. They will charge you for using Time Shift TV also!
You will have the facility to get to know about your withstanding bill somewhere in the menu also!
