This is not correct. Your upload data during day time is counted in free portion.

You cannot separate Day and Night as they out upload into their free quota. Even they cannot.

Which part do you mean not correct ?
If you really want to count how your data actually used.... this usage meter is not the best way to check it.
You need to have a data usage meter between your router and the devices you are connected with.

And it is possible to separate day and night. The "Free" portion is like a separate water tank.
It is generally the "off peak" or after 12 "night time data".

You said it is incorrect because "upload data during day time is counted in free portion". That's Fine.
It doesn't matter your upload data counts during day or night.
It still uses whatever the capacity from Standard or Free portion data you get from the 1st day of the month.

This script helps you to see the calculation from what's left in your account remaining data.
And that remaining calculation is correct with the account remaining data.

If you really believe this is correct no point in arguing. One with a little brain can deduct remaining standard volume from Total and get your figure without an add on to browser with risking your privacy.

Of course, deduct remaining standard volume from total to get the figure is very much possible even without using this addon. It's true.
And that is exactly what is showing here. Nothing else.
User always don't want to do that manually all the time. Therefore, it is just making it easier to the desktop browser user to see it. That's all.
In fact, this exact calculation can be seen in the MySLT App. (You can compare remaining data calculation in the app with this one)
So not clear which part you meant by 'not correct'.
