programmers/software engineers have money

they get paid well compared to nurses, teachers etc.

if you don't have good skills you want get work

mostly yes

they develop software

Software engineering is a big subject and programming is only a very little part of it. Programmers only knows how to code applications, but Software engineers knows how to design, implement, and modify software so that it is of higher quality, more affordable, maintainable, and faster to build. SEs knows modern techniques of designing, cost calculating, cost management , implimenting and time managment etc.
Does a programmer know how to calculate the real cost what he just programmed?
This question is something like "what is the difference between a mason worker and a civil engineer" Just because a mason can build a building, that doesnt make him an Civil Engineer. ;)

programmers also 'design, implement, and modify software'

The term programmer can be used to refer to a software developer, software engineer, computer scientist, or software analyst. However, members of these professions typically possess other software engineering skills, beyond programming; for this reason, the term programmer is sometimes considered an insulting or derogatory oversimplification of these other professions. This has sparked much debate amongst developers, analysts, computer scientists, programmers, and outsiders who continue to be puzzled at the subtle differences in these occupations.
