When grid ower is off, as per the present regulations of the country Solar PV inverter cuts off power export to grid.

CEB has three schemes, With Net metering, they will not pay for excess but other two schemes, they are paying.

Will the buy back rate of the CEB change if the Unit price of electricity goes up in the future ?

When the agreement is signed and CEB says for the next so many years, CEB will buy your solar power unit at what ever rate, that may remain fixed for that duration.
But CEB power unit prices can go up any time by any amount.
Then bad deal for solar power custa ?

Net meetering will only deal with no of units and that will be beneficial in case of changes in tariff.

Net Plus and Net accounting you need to think of investment appraisal considering the price if you are planning to install excess capacity.

Solar water heaters are used even in Nuwara Eliya. But go for a hybrid one with heater in build.
