Generally It may not be a virus but I suggest you install a Virus guard quickly & properly update it & do a full system scan :D

Are you runing with Vista Service Pack 1?? :D
The Vista before sp1 had errors like this due to application incompatibilities

Is this error coming for the Vista Compatible applications?

This is not only allocated to Windows Vista Ultimate Machan

Check that the application you are using are the latest of their kind and compatible with Vista (you can do this online) :D

If you have an application compatible with XP only and no new version of it available, Always go to the properties of that .exe and check the compatibility to Windows XP XP2 under the 'Compatibility' tab

Edit* If you can't understand need me to post in sinhala, just tel me :D
