Funeral in Heaven is one of a kind metal band from Sri Lanka and they have bagged a lot of critical acclaim in the International Metal scene for the past few years. Last year at Derana Music Video Awards Funeral in Heaven won 3 awards including the Best Music video of the Year. Another significant fact about Funeral in Heaven is that they decided to remain seperated and unnoticed from the local mainstream music scene although they recieved an enormous media aatention after the Derana Music Awards. Nvertheless Funeral in Heaven is pretty much active outside Sri Lanka as they played 3 international concerts for the past 6 months including the Saarc Band Festival held in New Delhi.
