SPEECH OF AN IDOL GUIDING THE MISGUIDED

One day, Sayyiduna Rasulullah Prophet Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) met a person who was holding an idol in his hand: “Will you accept Islam if this idol talks to me?”


The idol worshipper said, “I have been worshipping this idol for 50 years and it has never spoken to me. How will it speak to you?”


Sayyiduna Rasulullah Prophet Muhammad (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) looked at the idol and asked, “Who am I?”


A voice was heard from the idol saying: “You are the Prophet of Almighty Allah.”


When the idol worshiper heard this, he immediately became a Muslim.

“Remember Abraham said: "O my Lord! make this city one of peace and security: and preserve me and my sons from worshipping idols.” {Surah Ibrahim, V 14:35}

bro. in Islam we refer to statues as Idols.

i think u know dat there is no pic or statue of our god the Almighty Allah. so we believe in him with faith. we believe that he is there. dats our religion.

and Islam says dont worship statues if ur a muslim coz statues or not n e thing but a figure. and figures r not accepted in Islam unless they r living. even havin pics is beleived not good.

hope u understand and if u have n e question jst ask. we will be very happy to answer ur question regarding Islam so that you guys can undestand islam better and communities can live with peace and harmony by understanding each other!

So statue of Lenin and Statue of Jesus both are regarded as idols in Islam? isn't it? But it's not the case who are non islamic. They worship not to the statue, but to the human or supra human qualities of that person. IMO Islam has got the definition of an idol wrong.

Christains also don't have pictures or statue of Yehova, their Almighty God. But why there were crusades between Islamics and Catholics if they both are worshiping to the idol-less almighty god? That's why I like to call Islam Mohammadesm rather. Christ and Mohammed both preached the same core religion, but those are the two religions where they have unrest against each other!

I can just as easily call you the same! And on top of that Mohammed as well.
Do tell us how much he appreciated "disbelievers", "idolaters" and "kuffars"! Also please enlighten us how even good peaceful "disbelievers" are still hell bound according to Mohammed's teaching. I must say he was very appreciative of "disbelievers".

And you living in a country with a Buddhist majority, have the audacity to talk about Idolators, since often people not of the book (i.e. Hindus, buddhists) are precisely called that by your appreciative and very tolerant religion.

This kind of arguments can also lead to a war...

It is very bad to say/write evil at other religions..,

But this could happen when people try to convert others to their religion and not tolerate other religions. Intolerance happens when they want to shove their religion on to other people.

Actually that is the reason people speak bad about religions.

If people don't try to convert other people, and respect people having different beliefs, and teaching religion only for people who are interested on learning it, the world could be so peaceful.

For a Fact: Do you know that the worlds fastest spreading religion have no campeigns to convert people...

Rejection of idol worship first came to belief systems from Moses. Moses was a Jew who introduced Ten Commandments. Before Moses Jews also worshipped Idols. When Moses descended from Mount Senai with plaques of Ten Commandments; Jews (on their way to the Promised Land) were casting Idols of a Cow out of Gold and Copper. Moss was so angry!

Wars are unfortunate political events of history. Religion has a little to do with Holy Wars. Holy Wars are just wars to conquer land sugar coated with religion to mak it easier to recruit people and to justify the killing. When people feel justified they can fight well.

So why don't you worship your parents?

'Aha! Idolater!!!', Isn't that what you people automatically assume when you see a Buddhist for example, praying in front of a Buddha statue?
