Have to say this all Ravana and co business is unproven. But the proven thing is that Anuradhapura old town is built on another ancient town dating back to 1200 BC. Recently Dr. Shiran Deraniyalaga, SL's leading archeologist appearing in a TV program made this claim. He predicted that there would be an entire town buried under ruins of A'pura. They are excavating ATM. One thing is clear that, we don't descend from Vijaya. There was a civilization in this country when he arrived, and it had it's own dynasty as well.

What difference it makes from whom we decended... I think what is more important is who we are now and how do we behave.... If some one commits every sin and claims that he decends from Gods, he only insults himself... Looking at our history we can only claim that we are degraded and degressing further, culturally, creatively, socially, economically, mentally, physically.. in every way.With all the latest technology we can't match what they did.... even the recent history. Is there anyone who can make a statue like statues in Kelani viharaya... not so old... The whole nation is breaking social rules, ethics and committing sins.... decaying fast as a result...
