Sri Lanka's ambassador to the UN Dr. Palitha Kohona says that some civilians died & crimes may have happened during the war.
He said that this would be looked into by the Sri Lankan government.
He was speaking at the channel 4 film screening in New York.
Maj. Gen. Shavendra Silva also attended the screening.
Earlier the Sri Lankan government completely rejected the film, called it a fake & said that channel 4 is funded by LTTE terrorists.
