Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa has reportedly decided not to attend any election rallies for the forthcoming Western Provincial Council election due to security reasons.
Informed sources said that President Rajapaksa is to address some of the main rallies through satellite communication facilities.
The decision has been taken not to attend any outside rallies following warnings by President's security chief of attacks from the LTTE
