All those hundreds were facilitated by some other batsman as i can remember mistly dilly n sana n some occasions mahi n sanga if not he wud have made same things he doo mostly he mostly gets runs cause of some other batsman takes pressure off if not he will presurize the other n then him self n its all over for others

best hundred I saw from him was that magnificent innings of his against NZ in NZ in 2005/6...there was no Sana..we were demolished by India to 6-1 and suddenly found in NZ for that remedy tsunami odis...VB tour to follow that..we were toothless..Tharangaya hit a unexpected assault....I think that was his fist hundred...!we lost the match..but that was refreshing...!
Tharanga never broke the barrier of swing bowling..utterly clueless in tests in Eng in 2006 early summer..but flourished in Odi's with Sana..After that with Dila...and Mahela...
He played quite well in Odis in SA in 2011/12..and WC in 2011...
flat tracks and medium pacers are his favorites....!

go back n see mach mahela scored a 167 not out if i cn rem rgt on a unplayabale track whn aravinda n all others ddnt score a fifty n no single fifty in that match frm both sides mahela scored a 120 in a 302 chase at adelaide in 1999 playing on aravindas spot cause f injury n in 2007 semi tharanga scored 60 frm 100+ balls n if nt mahela or if we lost mahela aftr tharaga eaten up so many. It wud hv been it .in 2011 final he wasted so nany pressurize dili n sanga. He him self went fihing nfially got an edge if nt for that pressure we surely have one that n postd 300

Yeah there are innings where Mahela has played on his own.but you say none of them were facilitated by other batsmen?none?and you say each and every 13 hundreds of Tharanga was like what you say?each and every hundred?yeah he may pressurize other players but that certainly can be corrected.it simply doesn't say he shouldn't be in the team.if so, for the mistakes Sanga and Mahela had, they should have been kicked out of the team so many years ago.

So true machn I was remembering that giggee says all his hundreds were facilitated by Sanga,Mahela,Sana etc and he didn't do anything for Sri Lanka cricket.and those hundreds were bullshits Just because Tharanga's mistakes giggee has simply forgotten what Tharanga has done done to Sri Lanka cricket

I dnt knw hw many times mahela n sanga got luxuary of getting a hundred under the eadar bt it mch less thn tharanga have got.mahela odi figures yes nt tht great bt it doesnt take game away withhis batting n there were situations tht sanga were slow bt nt this slow whn we r chasing this kind f a total or on a this kind of a wicket as i said. Earlier i will repeat if it was gaba wacca seaming aucland or barbedos or even hydrabad im nt this much frustrate bt he juzt nt went behind he made mediore attack lk classy n took game away frm us .u need caution in aus n nz bt nt whn u chasing 364 .u cnt take game away with u . All other batsman becomes useless

I dnt knw machn but look at Tharanga's hundreds in youtube you'll see most of his hundreds were match winning hundreds.you just can't simply rule that out.but anyway I agree that he played poorly but TBH Indians bowled well didn't they?specially Ishant.His line and length was perfect.Yeah true it was a nothing shot at the end but on the same it was good bowling too.pitch didn't do anything its just that their bowlers bowled well and Tharanga didn't play up to his mark.cm'on machn those people are professionals,just because one batsmen got stuck and wasted balls and failed doesn't mean the whole team should fall apart.Yeah it will pressurize other players but they should be up for it.even Sanga got a good ball.it happens bro.everyday is not a Sunday.the bottom line is we are under prepared for this series so we should expect this.
