Up to now Sri Lankan airlines was an airline we could proud of and it operated with perfect saftey record and excellent quality of service. Now airline is under government control and now it is going to get lots of political influance and lots of henchman of the ministers will be filled there. When that happens lots of good people will leave the company.

!!!OOHH God ! tell me it a April fool joke.If it is a joke it is ok.. But If it is real, we have to think twice wheather we keeping or Loosing our presurest air line forever.First of all serving milk rice and sweet meat is not the thing you got to do first but to form a good managment team to handle the situvation. But thease Govenment fools trying to ruin the OUR SRI LANKAN ARI LINE as MIHIN AIR ( I think you already aware that Mihin Air had 02 plane and due to poor managment leasing company already taken away the one of the planes and the other one pretty soon will be taken away from us .So my fellows i think you dont want to explian this more and more .Because our Governmen t been that done that......................... Guys need to our voice to save our only one Air Line

There were talks earlier about Mihin Air being taken under Sri Lankan Air... Is this true.. then Sri Lankan Air will hav to support the losses of Mihin too..

Hoping..no praying that the high standards of Sri Lankan will not drop by the hands of the new management... God !!!! this government is hopeless... Other than the war..every thing this shit government lay their hands on ends up in a mess..

just now I flew on UL from Colombo to bangalore.The flight was supposed to take off from Colombo at 8 in the morning.But it got delayed by 5 hours till 1 o'clock in the afternoon.we were stuck in the airport all that time with just a breakfast coupon to survive with.Even when I flew to colombo in 11th April,the flight got delayed by 30 minutes because the door wann't closing properly
There are some serious issues passengers should worry about while flying Sri lankan airlines ever since the emirates deal got over.I'v been flying UL in this route for the past 4 years without even getting delayed a single time.Once I remember,the plane took off 30 minutes before schedule & reached before schedule to Colombo.
But sadly I guess those days are long gone now & the airline is begining to live up to it's former reputation of being "Usually Late" !!!!

giving food is not it bro..its lot more than that..I really have so sad idea about it..as long as politics fingers this ,this will not last long
