This is what Srilankan airlines gave me as food for a damn 7 hour flight from Colombo to Canton

after having to pay 2848USD+ a tax of 50000LKR (yes thats well more than a million lkr) for a ONE way ticket

It included
A happy cow cheese wedge, 2 cream crackers, a veg puff, a small piece of butter cake, a mini KitKat and a small carton of apple juice
Also they didnt allow passengers to have the food inside the flight, and everyone literally starved for around 8 hours

Also when asked for water atleast, they told 'මිස් cup එකක් හරි bottle එකක් හරි තියෙනවනම් දෙන්න අපි cups දෙන්නෙ නෑ'. copied.

What? Can you please explain. I have traveled to China many times on business visits, with the entire family once in May 2017 spent about a month. Will never set foot there again unless really required. I am not aware of any food restrictions served on flight or inside China.

SL Milk rice meal was quite nice. Dry fish curry would be better
