Srilankan cricket is now a total crap! Can u see a bright future in this Srilankan cricket team?? or can you at least see a glimpse of hope in the Srilankan Cricket System of it becoming a force in world cricket one day?NO

Srilankan Cricket System is a total crap.Cricket board thinks that concentrating and organizing t20 tournaments will develop srilankan cricket.NO it does not.We need a good 1st class cricket tournament for our youngsters to participate and develop their skills so that they can become international players .Without doing that how can we anticipate to see world class cricketers emerging from this system?

participating in t20 and going after money without thinking of the pride of playing for Srilanka has ruined this system.

And we need a good captain ,imaginative strong captain who can take good decisions like Arjuna.And we should not close the window for youngsters for taking up the positions of Dilshan Sanga and Mahela.We should allow anyone who performs better to take up those positions. Unless we take immediate actions God bless to Srilanakan Cricket.

And appointing Chandimal as the t20 captain is a joke.Is he a t20 player??or at least is he a good 50 over player?? No (at the moment) ..and playing him at 6th position in the one day side was just a joke.he is not a hard hitter and the ideal position for him to play is 3 or 4 .

The day we are going get consistently beaten by minnors like Bangladesh is not far away. After the Senior trio retires just see whats going to happen.And those three only performs in Srilankan flat tracks now.They have passed their prime.we should find enthusiastic youngsters who can take up their positions and can perform not only in Srilanka but overseas too .

No mate it is not.If its happening Srilankan Cricket board should take actions in order to up the level of school cricket and most importantly the quality of the cricket played at school level or in the club level .Unless we up the quality and concentrate more in the 4 day 1st class matches without giving a huge publicity to useless t20 tournaments where players or the quality of cricket does not effectively get affected ,i think we will be no longer a good international team.

Yea machan exactly. Everything has being politically affected in this shithole. It is just getting worse day by day and its very difficult to see something we love like Cricket going in a downward spiral.

Our board should think about the betterment of out future of cricket ,and how to develop the quality of our cricketers and most importantly Cricketers with values.Now a days they all are thinking of taking the power and just making it worse . We want genuine people in the administration. thats what we lack.

Mathews may be a good one day/t20 player.But he has to show that by his performance which he has not been able to do so far. And obviously he is not a TEST MATCH PLAYER.He shouldnt be in the test side for godsake.He doesnt not deserve this.We should keep looking for players who are capable of playing in test level and should find a captain who has the ability to consistently perform in the test level.

Mathews not going to go any where unless he performs.
