Me and my friends are still trying to decode this.
We think this could be a map of some kind. But we could be wrong.

H. C. P. Bell, the Archaeological Commissioner for Sri Lanka in 1905, thought this is a ancient map of the world. According to him the big circle in the middle is the "Maha Meru" mountain and the edge of the circle represent the sea.

yeah, already did. actually i posted the link in 1 of my earlier post. It looks a logical explanation. but how come the same stargate is there in Egypt (?) and Peru!! they didnt have any exposure to Buddhism. My theory is that this is a universal symbol and it is found only in the midst of ancient civilizations. correct me if i'm wrong, but if someone has done a age-calculation (carbon-dating?), they *may* be of the same age. I won't be suprised if it is so. That is why I believe that this is something to do with ET life.

well...yes. that is the main reason i wandered into this community. after reading Dr Sooriya Gunasekara's and Mr Pathiratne's (i think) articles, i developed an interest in the pre-history.

SL--> three stupas with a stargate only about a mile away
Egypt --> three pyramids with a stargate, again only about a mile away!!
