Street Lights with LED and Solar Power could save $$$

If all street Lights are converted to LED lights could save millions or billions of $ for government and with solar pannels connected to electric grid could boost savings. The electric grid should be DC current could stop transmission loss. Even conect it to the electric rail lines . to boost savings. Why cant we have solar panells on top of trains too.
