A bright young student was kidnapped, gang raped and murdered after offering to give a friend a lift home, a court has heard.
Hannah Cornelius, 21, wanted to make sure fellow student Cheslin Marsh, 22, arrived back at his accommodation safely after an evening out, so said she would drive him instead of him going home on his skateboard.
But when she pulled up next to him a group of four men came towards her car, hijacked it and locked Mr Marsh in the boot before stabbing Hannah in the chest, a court was told.
They used a screwdriver to attack her through the open window and opened the passenger door and put a knife to the back of Mr Marsh and threatened to kill him, it is claimed.
