man we should get rid of the mentality that we should make everything here in SL. we have to pick our industries well. now let's say we started a bus manufacturing company here in SL. do you think we have a sufficient demand to run a factory? i believe we don't. we only require around 400 new buses an year, and for such a small demand it's not worth running a factory.

we should import the stuff that worth importing, and manufacture what's worth manufacturing, and i believe we should bring our buses from china, and not from india. in fact we should not bring anything indian cuz indians can't even design a saucepan properly

i said we should bring chinese. they are better than indian,, and most importantly, chinese buses are rear-engined, which is good

remember we did it earlier. what do u mean get rid of that mentality. the road to a industrialized nation? We need to start heavy industry right now. Otherwise its not gonna happen, MIddle east money can only take us this far. All of the foreign investment companies are starting to leave sri lanka becuase of expensive labor and expensive electricity.

i belive that this is a small step that we must absolutely take to strengthen our future economy.

Have u ever been on a chinese bus? ive lived there for 2 years. Its not suited for us. Pooneryn, elephant pass turn 3k daapu gaman ewata habak thamai.. lol
